Ep. 159 How to generate leads for services companies

 

Episode 159 at The Marketing Lyfe Podcast. This is Taylor Timothy, your host. And today, guys, we’re gonna be talking about how to generate leads for service based companies. So if you offer some sort of service, this is we’re going to be talking about in all honesty, guys, I preach this on this podcast. I’ve preached it over and over and over again. We’re going to go back through it and hopefully you can catch something that’s going to help you start generating more leads and sales for your business, where your potential, your clients. So let’s not waste any more time and dive in.

So guys is sort of working with this company and everything they were doing was on ClickFunnels, which I’ve talked about in previous podcasts. That ClickFunnels is a great tool, right? But I pushed them over to WordPress, built out funnels on WordPress with my system and my process. And basically we started getting phone calls. They started getting more phone calls. They started getting more form fills, et cetera. So I’m just going to talk to you guys a little bit about what I did for this particular company and what you guys should be doing as well. So first rebuilt their website basically laid out their site with all of their services on their home page, all of their products on their homepage and things like that. Then I went over and built out specific pages for their products and in this case, their events and on every single one of those pages, we have the same call to action.

We have across the board for this, each service, right? So for example, if it’s an event, it’s reserve your spot. If it’s for a product, potentially it’s a demo, um, or things like that, bond, every single page, it has that same call to action throughout the entire page. Every time they click a button, it encourages them to fill out a form to get more information, name, email, and phone number. Okay. Then from there, it redirects them to a schedule page, a Calendly page, specifically that’s embedded in the site and it gives them opportunity to schedule a time that they can chat and figure out if the product is good for them. So that is the process to give you an idea what has already happened the first week they’re getting before I started working with them, they really weren’t getting any scheduled appointments just by implementing this process through organic and just by leveraging the current traffic that they have, they’d gone over 25 scheduled appointments within the first two weeks.

So like, obviously this is like an ongoing process where we’re going to continue to push that ship up, get them more leads and sales and things like that. But guys, this is just evidence and proof that this system works. What I’m talking to you about. So make sure guys that you do this. If you’re a service-based company and set up this particular system and I promise it’s going to work for you guys. So again, you got to have a good lead magnet or before that you’ve got to have a good site. That’s Le that’s laid out good. That’s clean that’s user-friendly then you got to have good calls to actions or a lead magnet potentially. Then that third step is make sure you redirect them to a place where they can actually schedule an appointment with you. And then from there, you actually send them to a thank you page as well, but then go through and track all that.

What I’m giving you guys right now, basically their site was converting. It probably like I’ll give them like the benefit of the doubt and say 1%. Now we’re actually generating leads, right? And we are converting about seven, six to 7% of the traffic that is coming to the site, which is massive, massive increase.
