How I Cut My Cost Per Click

So the simple thing that I did, um, just to get my, to cut my cost per click and call down was inside my call and the campaign. I tried a new bidding strategy. So I used impression share instead of maximize clicks. A lot of times in my call and the campaigns I’ve used maximized clicks, but I was trying to figure out how I could get my cost per call to go down, and simply by as much traffic as possible for a specific keyword. Because it was converting for us.

So what I did is I went in, I said, Hey, I’m going to try this. We’re going to try and use target impression share. And it literally cut our cost per click and half. And our results stayed the same as far as getting leads coming in. So that is a simple tip and trick there for you guys on this episode, episode one 51 on how to cut your cost per click down.

Try a Few Different Test Strategies

Um, let me know, like I said, so you guys know, I’m not saying every time every campaign you use, you should do this strategy. I’m just saying, it’s something you can go out there and test on your Google ad account and you can see if it helps lower your cost per click and also increases your traffic again. It’s just something you can test. That’s what online marketing is all about. It’s all about going out there, trying different things and figuring out what works, continuing to do a works and maybe make small adjustments along the way. Now, sometimes people are like, I’m just going to change everything and my own opinion. That’s not smart. You make babysat, you take baby steps, make small changes along the way, and you’ll continue to grow your business online and get more leads and sales.
