Introduction To The Marketing Lyfe Podcast Ep. 56
Episode 56 of the marketing life podcast. This is tailored Timothy, your host and today guys we’re talking about Facebook ad account changes. This is the third episode this year that I’ve done on Facebook ad account changes, so this year in this episode, these ones are pretty drastic, so let’s not waste any more time and dive right in.
1. Info And Ads
First thing I want to talk about is info and ads. Earlier this year Facebook rolled out a thing called Info and ads. Now this has gone before you could go to anybody’s page that was running ads and you could see the ads they were running. So basically you could go see your competitors are doing, you could go get ad copy ideas and the list goes on and on.
Facebook Ad Library
What you decided to do with this, but Facebook has now discontinued it and now they rolled out a thing called the Facebook ad library. So inside the Facebook Ad Library you guys can go check it out. It’s facebook.com backslash ads back slash library. Basically you guys can go in there and you can search topics and potentially find your competitor. But this is now the new little thing that has been replaced by Info and ads.
Obviously I liked info and ads better because you could stop, you could find exactly what you wanted to immediately in this case, what’s Nice is you can Elise go search topics and find ads that you potentially would have never found before because the companies were small and you didn’t even really know about them. So definitely pros and cons there, but that is one of the big drastic changes that has happened recently with Facebook.
2. Revamping Ads Manager
The second change, this is just being rolled out. This happened to me yesterday. Basically guys, they are revamping the entire ads manager. The way it looks, the way it feels, how it functions. So guys, I had, I got hit in the face yesterday because I was literally building ads. I published them and then I press refresh and the entire dashboard changed to the new one. So there’s a lot of pros and cons there with it. I think it needed a facelift. It needed an update. Um, but this one has kind of thrown me off a little bit.
So obviously right now, luckily they just rolled out a little switch box so you can switch back to the old ads manager if it’s freaking you out too much. But the reality is at some point Facebook is going to implement it and we’re going to be stuck with it. So go over there, mess around with it and let me know what you guys think as well.
But that’s going to wrap up this episode, episode 56 some ad account changes number three of the year. So if you guys have any more questions, new updates you guys hear about coming out, feel free to reach out to me a tailored to meet the.com. I’m here to help,
